About The Response Group

About The Re - Dave Monksponse Group

Established by David Monk in 2003, The Response Group has been providing high quality first aid and emergency care training for over 17 years,  and event medical services for over 15 years to a wide and diverse range of clients. Recently, the business has added health & safety, mental health first aid and clinical training for health professionals to its portfolio of services.

The Response Group operates throughout Southern England and under David’s guidance has become a well-respected and competent provider of training and event first aid services to private and corporate clients and health professionals by building long term and lasting relationships.

After a career in building engineering services, during which time David was also volunteering for St John Ambulance, he moved into working full time with several independent ambulance services before establishing The Response Group. During this time, he undertook the full range of ambulance duties working on patient transport, repatriation and private hospital contracts and 999 support to NHS Trusts. He also worked as an Ambulance Training Officer involved in the design and delivery of training programmes to ambulance staff and providing work-based mentoring.

With his background and passion for training and event medical services stretching back almost 30 years, David now brings his years of knowledge and practical experience together for the benefit of clients through The Response Group. He is still active in all aspects of training delivery and continues to maintain his hands-on clinical practice through his participation in our event medical teams.

Our philosophy has always been to provide every client, large and small, with the same level of professional service, which is sensibly priced and delivered by friendly, experienced and qualified professionals. Whatever your requirement, The Response Group aims to provide every client with an outstanding client experience and stands ready to serve you.
